Hi, I’m Caroline.
I’m so glad you’re here. Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step. Sometimes people come in knowing exactly what they want help with, and sometimes they just know that life feels hard, overwhelming, or off track. Either way, you do not have to have it all figured out before you start.
I work with children, teens, adults, caregivers, and families, and I have a special heart for supporting people through the messy, complicated parts of life. That may look like anxiety, OCD, depression, ADHD, trauma, parenting stress, addiction or recovery-related concerns, developmental differences, relationship strain, life transitions, or just feeling stuck in patterns that are no longer working. I also enjoy working with neurodivergent clients, parents, foster and adoptive families, and individuals navigating reproductive and perinatal mental health concerns.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working closely with children and families in roles centered around caregiving, childcare, and parenting support. That experience shaped the way I see people and the way I practice. It gave me a real-world understanding of how hard daily life can be, especially when you are juggling emotional needs, school concerns, family stress, medical issues, systems involvement, or just the basic task of trying to hold everything together. My background helps me meet people where they are, not where they feel like they “should” be.
My style is straightforward, compassionate, and down to earth. I am not here to judge you, talk over you, or make therapy feel stiff and uncomfortable. I want our work together to feel honest, supportive, and useful. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are, breathe a little easier, and start making sense of what is going on underneath the surface. Sometimes that work is serious. Sometimes it is deeply practical. Sometimes it even includes humor, because let’s be honest, life can be a lot.
My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and I also draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness-based work, trauma-informed care, play-based approaches, and other strengths-based methods depending on your needs. In plain English, that means I help people better understand themselves, handle emotions more effectively, get unstuck from unhelpful patterns, and move toward a life that feels more in line with who they are and what matters to them.
I have also completed graduate training in both clinical social work and substance use disorders, and I especially enjoy helping clients explore their relationship with addictions in an honest, non-shaming way.
At the heart of my work is the belief that people make sense in context. There is a reason you are coping the way you are coping. There is a reason certain patterns developed. Therapy is not about blaming you for those patterns. It is about understanding them, working with them, and helping you build something healthier and more sustainable.
If you are looking for a therapist who is warm, practical, affirming, and real, I would be honored to work with you.

Hi,
I'm Lindsey
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up exactly as you are. You do not need to have all the right words, have everything figured out, or hold it all together here. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and truly heard.
I work with adults who are navigating all kinds of challenges, including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, grief, relationship concerns, body image struggles, eating disorders, caregiver stress, chronic pain or medical issues, and major life transitions. I also have a special interest in geriatric mental health and enjoy supporting individuals as they move through changes related to aging, retirement, grief, health concerns, and shifting family roles. In addition, I provide affirming support to parents of transgender youth as they navigate understanding, acceptance, and advocacy.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, DBT skills, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches, but I also know that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I want our work together to feel useful, supportive, and grounded in your real life. Together, we can explore what is getting in the way, build practical coping tools, and help you move toward meaningful change with more self-compassion and confidence.
I earned my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota, and I feel honored to walk alongside people as they work through hard things, learn more about themselves, and create lives that feel more aligned with who they are.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing creative things that help me recharge. I love cookie decorating, knitting, crocheting, coloring, and crafting. I also love traveling and have a personal goal of visiting every national park in the United States. For me, those creative and adventurous parts of life are such a good reminder of the importance of balance, curiosity, and making space for joy.
If you are looking for a therapist who will meet you with warmth, respect, and compassion, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
